Tatreez is the name of traditional embroidered Palestinian women do. It is also the name of this project funded by the European Union and implemented by the Spanish NGO Cives Mundi and Lebanese Najdeh.
Our target is contribute to the economic protection of the most economically vulnerable Palestinian women refugees. At the end of the project, at least 50% of the 120 beneficiaries will be able to increase their economic incomes by 200%.
Those women will receive professional training on Palestinian traditional embroidery, in creating designs as well as in national and international marketing of embroidery products and in creating small bussines. At the end of the project these women will be able to create a cooperative of women with three headquarters, one in each camp. And selling their Tatreez in a online shop.
